REDEFINING THE EP LAB SIMPLIFYING THE WORKFLOW

ENHANCE YOUR EP CAPABILITIES with EP-tracer

Enhance your EP capabilities with equipment that is compact, highly integrated and mobile to address capacity challenges and treat more patients. Watch the interview with PD Dr. Chun and PD Dr. Schmidt to learn how EP-TRACER Portable and Mobile Cart EP recording system can help during clinical practice.

Medtronic, in collaboration with Radcliffe Cardiology, are pleased to share expert video case studies filmed at the EP laboratory of CCB Markus Krankenhaus, Frankfurt, Germany. In these videos, PD Dr. med Julian Chun and PD Dr. med. Boris Schmidt perform two AF Cryoballoon ablation procedures.

The videos feature the use of the EP-TRACER EP recording system, now distributed by Medtronic, that is available in different versions: fixed installation, Mobile Cart and Portable/Laptop version. The physicians demonstrate in practical setting the ease of system use, including features helpful for Cryoballoon procedures (temperature curve display, time to isolation, CMAP for phrenic nerve monitoring) and discuss how such EP recording system could facilitate access to more cath lab spaces, allowing for the treatment of more patients.

ABOUT EP-TRACER

EP‐TRACER is an electrophysiology measurement system used to acquire, filter, digitise, amplify, display, and record signals obtained during electrophysiological studies and related procedures.

The world’s most compact, easy-to-use recording system provides superior signal clarity with a built-in dual channel programmable stimulator for electrophysiology (EP) studies. The EP-TRACER received CE- and FDA 510(k) clearance.

The system is commercially available in Europe, Central and South America, Asia Pacific, Africa and the Middle East.

The EP-TRACER EP recording system is manufactured and CE-marked by CardioTek BV, distributed by Medtronic.

  • Flexible and compact designs
  • Controlled by one operator
  • Simple, intuitive use

ABOUT MEDTRONIC CRYOABLATION TECHNOLOGY

The Arctic Front Advance™ Cardiac Cryoablation Catheter is the world’s leading balloon technology indicator for the treatment of patients with atrial fibrillation.

Cryoablation removes heat to isolate pulmonary veins with only a few applications.
This anatomical approach enables EPs to target sites consistently, allowing them to treat multiple AF patients each day.

  • Proven outcomes
  • Short, predictable procedures1
  • Increased patient throughput2

See the device manual for detailed information regarding the instructions for use, indications, contraindications, warnings, precautions, and potential adverse events. For further information, contact your local Medtronic representative and/or consult the Medtronic website at www.medtronic.com
