The Next Generation Of Efficiency

Arctic Front Advance ProTM Cryoballoon

TAKING EFFICIENCY TO THE NEXT LEVEL

The Arctic Front Advance Pro Cryoballoon is the latest catheter innovation in cryoablation technology. Its short-tip profile may allow for improved time-to-isolation visualization,1-6 which enables physician-tailored dosing protocols7 and may result in improved procedural efficiency, such as decreased procedure time, without compromising efficacy.1-8

WHY DOES TIME-TO-ISOLATION (TTI) VISUALIZATION MATTER?

Improved Visualization of TTI May Help Drive Improved Procedure Outcomes

  • Observing time to PV isolation is facilitated by contact of the Achieve™ catheter and the muscular sleeves (which transmit PV potentials).9
  • Real-time PVI visualization has emerged as a potentially valuable parameter to estimate the quality of an ablation lesion as this is the only true tissue physiology that can be monitored.9-10
  • Shorter time to PV isolation has shown to be predictive of a durable lesion, whereas longer time to PV isolation has been associated with an increased risk of PV reconnection.10

Improved Visualization of TTI*

Designed to help improve the Achieve mapping catheter family's ability to measure time-to-isolation (TTI) by bringing the electrodes closer to the veins’ muscular sleeves

Built on a Proven Platform

Maintains the benefits proven in the 700+ peer-reviewed articles and abstracts supporting the safety and efficacy of the Arctic Front family

Shortened Tip Profile*

The 40% shortened tip may allow for improved catheter maneuverability in patients with smaller left atria or early PV branching.

The clinical evidence presented in this section regarding the short-tip balloon was collected using Arctic Front Advance™ ST cryoballoon catheter, the Medtronic third-generation cryoballoon, not Arctic Front Advance Pro. However, this data is relevant to Arctic Front Advance Pro as it is also a short-tip balloon.
