HOW IS AORTIC VALVE STENOSIS DIAGNOSED?
With the Stethoscope test a heart murmur of aortic valve stenosis can be detected. However the key tool to diagnose and confirm aortic valve stenosis is the heart ultrasound (Echocardiography).
The ultrasound of your heart will reveal if you have aortic valve stenosis. You may also perform a stress test to reveal symptoms in case you are asymptomatic or have non-specific symptoms.
