Quantum ventilation system

The Quantum Ventilation System is a major breakthrough in the safe delivery of patient ventilation during clinical procedures requiring extracorporeal V/A circulation for critical life support.

With its unique combination of world-first technologies the Quantum Ventilation System offers clinicians the opportunity to deploy a conventional atmospheric ventilation strategy across a wide ranging patient population.

Diagnostic Module

The Quantum Sensor Module is designed to provide the complete range of perfusion circuit parameters required for the safe management of Cardiopulmonary Bypass and the measurement of DO2.

The sensor module includes:

• three temperature measurements 
• three pressure measurements 
• three flow measurements (including emboli and bubble detection) 
• a two-position reservoir level detection system. 

Offering complete flexibility, the Quantum Sensor Module can be connected directly to the Quantum Workstation and to multiple locations on the Quantum Perfusion Console.

Smart Occluders for Venous & Arterial circuits

The Quantum Smart Occluder is a revolutionary new approach to the management of perfusion tube occlusion for therapies using extracorporeal circulation.

Integrating Spectrum Medical’s proven tube occlusion technology with integrated high-precision, closed-loop flow control systems allows the clinician to adopt an intelligent occlusion strategy that enhances system support for complex transitions of care such as bypass initiation, patient weaning and precision changes in patient blood volume.

Quantum Roller Pump

The roller pumps with three different race-way diameters, 4", 6" and 8" eliminates the compromises that force many users to use 8" pumps for medium flow applications.

All three motor units are direct drive with non-contacting brushless motors to maximise both motor endurance and low-noise in operation.
