HOW DOES THE TriageHF™ algorithm OPERATE?

Ordinary life heart failure gif banner

ALGORITHM OPERATION TriageHF™ technology

TriageHF™ uses previous 30 days of data to predict HF risk in the next 30 days

Calculated when data is received by the CareLink™ network

HF risk is classed by maximum risk from last 30 days

Based on a Bayesian, probabilistic model

TRIAGE HF™ is designed to integrate the diagnostic data collected by the compatible cardiac implanted device and provide an overall heart failure risk assessment. The risk assessment is based on an analysis of the cardiac device diagnostic data from the previous 30 days to calculate the probability of a heart failure event within the next 30 days.

TRIAGEHF™ WILL GENERATE A PATIENT’S  RISK LEVEL BY assessing²:

OptiVol™, Patient Activity, AT/AF Burden, Ventricular Rate during AT/AF, % Ventricular Pacing, Shocks, Treated VT/VF, Night Ventricular Rate, Heart Rate Variability.

RISK SCORE

TriageHF™-enabled clinics can leverage the technology for all CIED* patients with OptiVol™, with backward compatibility.

TRIAGEHF™ RISK ASSESSMENT

Risk assessment graph
  1. The risk status reported for the patient for the next 30 days is based on the maximum daily risk status for the previous 30 days.
  2. Boxes marked with an “X” indicate an example of risk factors that contributed to the overall risk status.
