REMOTE
MEDICAL TRAINING & PROCTORING

Education for Interventional
Neuroradiologists

Our partnership with Tegus Medical enables real time advice and training for Interventional Neuroradiologists.

Tegus allows a physician to perform a procedure with the assistance of a mentor or company support representative without needing this support person to be in the same operating suite during the procedure.

The low latency, encrypted, secure streaming platform provides a high-quality camera image that is controlled by the proctor, providing a 360 degree view of the operating theatre in real time with audio communication.

By utilizing this technology, we can ensure our education and support programs remain uninterrupted, regardless of geographical or time restrictions.

Tegus has over 50 cameras installed throughout Europe and the Middle East and Medtronic can support any case using any camera.

Advantages of Remote Proctoring:

  • Proctor travel can take over half a day in some instances. Using a remote system saves time and money
  • Remote proctoring prevents a Proctor’s department from being short staffed for any longer than necessary
  • Remote proctoring can also be used across shorter geographical distances for time sensitive cases
