Micra™ AV2 is a VDD lealdless pacemaker that provides atrioventricular (AV) synchrony for bradycardia patients.
Micra™ AV2 is a VDD leadless pacemaker with automatic AV synchrony to treat patients with bradycardia. This device is delivered percutaneously via a minimally invasive approach and does not require the use of leads.
Micra™ AV2 devices are implanted with the same streamlined procedure as previous Micra™ devices.
The projected median longevity is nearly 16 years, which means more than 80% of patients only need one Micra™ device for life.1
The improved algorithms on Micra™ AV2 automatically customize AV synchrony settings for each patient, reducing the need for manual programming by more than 50% compared to Micra™ AV.1
The smarter algorithms also improve automatic AV synchrony at faster heart rates between 80–100 bpm1, and the upper tracking rate limit is now 135 bpm.
The updated delivery system now has a rounded catheter tip with more surface area to decrease tip pressure during device implant.2
