RebarTM Reinforced Micro Catheter

The RebarTM Micro Catheter is an end-hole, single-lumen catheter designed to be introduced over a steerable guidewire into the vasculature.

Overview

The RebarTM Reinforced Micro Catheter is a single-lumen catheter introduced via a steerable guidewire into the vasculature. Its stainless-steel construction, high kink resistance, and hydrophilic coating help navigate tortuous anatomy and deploy therapeutic agents or contrast media with ease.

Indications

The RebarTM Reinforced Micro Catheter is intended for the controlled selective infusion of physician-specified therapeutic agents or contrast media into the peripheral vasculature.

Product details

The catheter's semi-rigid proximal shaft transitions into a flexible distal shaft, facilitating advancement into the anatomy. A standard luer adapter at the proximal end enables ready attachment of accessories.1

Pushability and visibility1

  • Continuous stainless-steel construction provides added reinforcement
  • High resistance to kinking when maneuvering around tight bends
  • Distal radiopaque marker aids fluoroscopic visualization

Smooth delivery1

  • Lubricious hydrophilic outer coating helps navigate tortuous vessels and reduce resistance
  • PTFE inner liner eases the passage and deployment of embolic devices and agents
  • DMSO compatible

Super selectivity1

  • Steam-shapable catheter tip through the use of a mandrel enables treatment of super selective vessels
