This is a peer-to-peer course designed to help healthcare teams optimise Arctic Front Advance™ Cryoballoon procedures and workflow.
Participants can expect to learn ways to reduce EP lab occupancy time per procedure and improve procedure management processes, with the aim to increase procedure capacity and improve quality of care.
A TEAM APPROACH TO TRAINING
Two to four participants from each hospital are eligible to participate in this course. The selected participants must be experienced in performing or supporting Arctic Front Advance™ Cryoballoon procedures and must perform different roles within the hospital (e.g. electrophysiologist, nurse, cath lab manager, hospital administrator).
Participants learn how Cryoballoon procedures can be managed safely and efficiently by shadowing their counterparts in equivalent roles during at least three live cases. This enables participants to see the clinical and operational benefits associated with an experienced centres approach to topics including procedure preparation, time-to-isolation guided dosing strategy, resource allocation, case scheduling, and patient turnover.
