N2L is a stepwise peer-to-peer training program for electrophysiologists who are proficient in performing EP procedures in the right atrium and wish to extend their knowledge and skills to perform atrial fibrillation ablations using Medtronic ablation technologies.

The program is divided in three steps:

  1. A two-day classroom training with theoretical sessions and practical exercises
  2. A three-day observational training at an experienced N2L EP lab
  3. Perform cryoablation in your center with the support of an N2L proctor (Optional)
OBJECTIVES
  • Discuss patient selection criteria and follow up management
  • Manipulate specific devices required for left atrial procedures
  • Access the left atrium by transseptal approach
  • Anticipate and manage issues related to AF ablations
  • Interpret the electrical signals in the left atrium
  • Successfully perform a complete AF ablation procedure using Medtronic ablation technologies

  • Learn tips and techniques to optimize catheter maneuvering and pulmonary vein occlusion
  • Learn how to interpret indicators for successful ablations (e.g. occlusion, time-to-isolation)
  • Leverage the faculty’s extensive experience with the Arctic Front™ Family of Cardiac Cryoablation Catheters to optimize clinical outcomes
  • Gain familiarity with procedural best practices and the latest clinical evidence on Arctic Front™ Family of Cardiac Cryoablation Catheters.
  • Share your experience about challenging cases you faced during clinical practice

ARCTIC FRONT OPTIMIZATION COURSE (AFPO)

OVERVIEW

The AFPO is a peer-to-peer course designed to help healthcare teams optimise Arctic Front™ Cardiac Cryoablation Catheter procedures and the associated. Participants can expect to learn ways to reduce EP lab occupancy time per procedure and improve procedure management processes, with the aim to increase procedure capacity and improve quality of care.

Two to four participants from each hospital are eligible to participate in this course. The selected participants must be experienced in performing or supporting Arctic Front Advance™ Cryoballoon procedures and must perform different roles within the hospital (e.g. electrophysiologist, nurse, cath lab manager).
